Exclusive Immersions offers tailor-made academic trips to France for international schools, designed specifically for students aged 7 to 18. Organized in groups of at least twenty, these programs provide a unique opportunity for cultural and linguistic immersion, combining French language lessons with educational activities in subjects such as history and geography, sport as well as cultural exploration. Fully adaptable to the needs of each school and their families, the trips can take place during holidays or the academic year. Paris is typically the main destination, with a rich and engaging cultural program. Exclusive Immersions manages the entire experience from start to finish, with the option for schools to send at least two teachers to accompany the group.

Presentation of the accomodation
MIJE, youth hostel has day staff and a night watchman, as well as adapted group accommodation. It regularly welcomes groups of young children and schoolchildren from all over the world. The children will be divided by sex into two rooms next to each other, and the supervisors will be housed on the same floors, to ensure optimum supervision and proximity in case of need.
MIJE’s Marais youth hostels, located in the center of Paris, just a 10-minute walk from the Hôtel de Ville, Place de la Bastille and Notre-Dame Cathedral. 17th-century buildings, with their atypical, exotic charm, are convenient starting points for visiting Parisian monuments on foot or by public transport. You can also get to some of Paris’s most famous landmarks, such as the Champs Elysées, the Eiffel Tower and the Sacré-Coeur.
About the security
Instructions on the organisation, running and safety of the trip will be given as soon as the group arrives in Paris and a short briefing, organised at the hotel/youth hostel by the Exclusive Immersions supervisor. It will take place each morning to review the day’s programme and safety instructions, in particular the specificities of Parisian traffic.
It should be noted that each child will be given a brightly coloured cap or armband, a document with the numbers of the supervisors and the address of the accommodation and, for those who have a mobile phone, an emergency number.
1. Travel security
EXIMMS is one of the few organisations certified as NF Service by AFNOR, renewed every year. This certification attests to the excellent quality service which our stays are known for. We have also put in place a quality chart, which formalises our commitments to our customers.
The trip to Paris will be perfectly supervised and totally secure from start to finish.
2. Permanent supervision
The 6 Nigerian supervisors from Springhall will be assisted by a French supervisor from Exclusive Immersions. The group will be looked after from the moment they arrive at the airport until they return. The French supervisor and his deputy, who speak English, know Paris perfectly and will be able to respond to any situation if necessary.
The 6 permanent supervisors for 12 students, so 1 adult for almost 2 children, ensure a totally reliable travel environment (bearing in mind that French legislation requires one supervisor for every 12 students in such circumstances).
In addition to the permanent French supervisor, Exclusive Immersions’ head office is in Paris, as are the company’s other partners, who will meet the group on several occasions during the trip.
3. Urban Travel
As Paris is a city with extremely dense traffic and constant traffic jams, travel will mainly be by public transport, which is the quickest and easiest way to get around a small, homogeneous group, thus facilitating the logistics of supervision and safety.
The transfer from the airport to the youth hostel will be by private transport.
Paris is a major tourist destination, with a high level of police surveillance, with several thousand uniformed and plainclothes law enforcement officers on permanent patrol, particularly at the most visited sites.
4. Medical Insurance
In the event of a medical problem, a doctor will be consulted immediately, bearing in mind that Paris has 56 hospitals and 76 fire stations within its urban area and that, depending on the location of the visit, the French supervisor will be given details of the nearest medical establishment.
Medical expenses incurred on site will be covered by the medical insurance taken out by Exclusive Immersions, bearing in mind that repatriation insurance will cover a medical return to Nigeria if necessary.
